STOOD THE FUCK UP

Proving once again that if it seems too good to be true, it probably is...

I TOTALLY GOT STOOD UP TONIGHT!

I had a date with the Economist this evening that never happened...because he never called me. EPIC FAIL. After 3 weeks of build-up, this is what I get? LAME.

I'm seeing the Journalist again this coming week, so it's not like I'm left without options...but I was really looking forward to this, and this is a magnificently annoying way for it to go down. Apparently, this guy can run a major company AND the State of California, but he can't get it together to take me to dinner (after 3 weeks of anticipation!).

There have been epic failures before, but I think this is the most epic of them all.
