The following exchange happened yesterday:
Me: So I met this former child star from a very famous 80's sitcom on Saturday night. It was *so* LA!
C: Amazing...
Me: ...But I pretended I didn't know who he was.
C: Omigod. *That* is so LA.
It's really true.
I kept up the charade for a good twenty minutes. Because I was too cool to be like "OMIGOD YOU WERE ON *THAT* SHOW! I LOOOOOOVED THAT SHOW! I LOOOOOOVED YOU ON THAT SHOW! I CANNOT WAIT TO TELL ALL MY FRIENDS THAT I SPENT SATURDAY NIGHT TALKING TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Yeah, I'm too cool.
