KEEPING. IT. REAL. POLYAMORY-STYLE.

I kept it real with the Harvard Writer last night...and while departing from one's fantasy-world is always a little bit sad ("You mean we're not just two crazy kids falling in love? You're actually a polyamorist, and I'm totally not into that? Oh, dear.") there is actually something very lovely about a nice soft landing into reality ("You're a polyamorist and I'm totally not. Hey, that's ok, too!") You see, the truth sets us free. And I had to keep it real because you wanna know who doesn't want to be saddled with a polyamoristic life partner? This girl.

So, we're on the same page now...while we enjoy each other's company immensely, we both know it's a finite amount of time that this situation is viable...it may be over next week, next month, or 6 months from now...and when it is, I'll be a little sad, but I will know it's the right move. Because I really can't fathom waking up 20 years from now, naked in my living room, with the Harvard Writer and an assortment of other naked swingers. That's just so unappealing in so many ways. Open-minded as I am, I just don't roll like that.
